The APM presented entries in the categories of best TV spot and best catalogue, along with 266 other competitors, and won two first prizes in the respective categories.
The Madeira television promotional spot which was entered was the 30 second version, produced last year by Wolff Olins as part of the launching of the new image for Madeira. The brochure entered for the best catalogue category was the Madeira Golf Brochure, also produced last year, by Funchal Publications.
The awards are divided into categories of posters, websites, catalogues and TV spots, in the international tourism advertising area, and are chosen on the basis of the votes of the general public and a specialised jury.
In the case of Madeira’s prizes, the TV spot was chosen by both the jury and the public while the golf brochure was chosen by the public.
